The service allows registered members known as 'Flirts' to discover new people that may share interests, locality and other information stored in their profile and then be able to chat with members, send messages, rate members and make new contacts as opposed to re connecting with old or existing friends and acquaintances. The PageLook service and network (collectively, "PageLook" or "the Service") are owned and operated by PageLook (collectively, "us", "we" or "the Company"). By accessing or using our web Site at www.PageLook.com or the mobile version thereof (together the "Site") you (the "User") signify that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms of Service" or "Agreement"), whether or not you are a registered member of PageLook. Where applicable under law, these Terms constitute a 'writing signed by you.' The PageLook Privacy Policy is intended to help you understand how we collect and use the personal information you decide to share and help you make informed decisions when using PageLook. By using or accessing PageLook, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Information We Collect from youWhen you Sign up to use the PageLook Web Site you provide us with two types of information 1. Personal information you intentionally choose to divulge such as, your name, your email address, your post code, your location, your telephone number, your gender, your age and other personal or preferred information such as hobbies and interests, music, video and pictures. 2. Information collected by PageLook which is transmitted automatically from your computer when you browse the Internet and use the PageLook site. This information includes data (cookies). A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. Session cookies expire once the user closes the browser however if you select the 'remember me' feature on the login page then we use a persistent cookie that stores your member ID. By selecting this you will not require your login and password details when visiting the site. This makes it easier for you when you check back in to PageLook however you can remove or block this cookie using the settings in your browser or by simply logging out if you want to disable this convenience feature. We do advise you do not enable this feature on shared computers e.g. in the work place. You post your own content on the Site at your own risk. PageLook cannot control the actions of other users which you choose to share your profile and information with. We cannot and do not guarantee that the content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for the defending of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site from web based threats. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of your content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your content. Any unacceptable collection or mistreatment of information provided on PageLook is a breach of the PageLook Terms of Service and should be reported to privacy@PageLook.com By using PageLook, you agree to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United Kingdom. We disclose PhonepayPlus as a potential recipient of personal data, and such data collected from service users may be used by PhonepayPlus for regulatory purposes. You may want to introduce friends to PageLook using our invite service. If you do choose to use this service then you should obtain your friends permission. Your friends email address will be required and checked against our suppression list. We will then automatically send them an email while notifying them that you have instigated us inviting him/her to visit the PageLook Web Site. PageLook will store this email to send it for invitation purposes only, and track the success of the invitation program. Your friend may wish not to take up this offer and may contact us at privacy@PageLook.com to request that we remove his/her email address from our database. Use and Disclosure of InformationWhen you register with PageLook, you create your own profile and can set your Personal settings. Your profile information, as well as your name, age, gender, location, and photo, are displayed to members to enable you to interact with members on PageLook. We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Jaydioctiy that we think you may find valuable. Profile information is used by PageLook first and foremost to be obtainable to and edited by you when you access the service and to be obtainable to others to view that information subject to your personal settings. In some cases where your settings permit it (e.g. posting comments), other PageLook members may be able to make additions to your profile. Profile information you submit to PageLook will be available to users of PageLook who access the information. Your user name, will be available in search results across the PageLook network. Your profile picture may appear on the PageLook home page and be viewable to all internet users who land on this page. Profile information you submit to PageLook will be available to all visitors who access the PageLook home page. We may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service. For instance, if a member sends you a new message, 'Peep' request, or someone posts a comment, you may receive an email or sms alerting you to that fact. LinksPageLook contains links to other websites. We are of course not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by PageLook. Third Party AdvertisingAdvertisements that appear on PageLook can sometimes when you click on, be delivered directly to third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These third party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript and "web beacons" (also known as "1x1 gifs") to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalise advertising content. Reviewing, changing, and deleting your ProfileYou can review and edit your profile via the Update profile tab. You can delete your profile at any time in the Account Options tab or you may contact us for assistance via email to support@PageLook.com and requests of this nature will be completed within 30 days.
